The new ‘The Grudge’ presents a Featurette

Sony shows a bit of how this new western version of the classic Japanese horror movie was made. The Grudge will be directed by Nicolas Pesce (The Eyes of my Mother), and will be starring Lin Shaye who already has experience in the genre with Insidious (2010), accompanied by Andrea Riseborough (Oblivion) and John Cho (Star Trek).

The horror film shows a vindictive spirit that persecutes you to kill you in the most horrible, painful and bloody way possible, appears anywhere and at any time, to fulfill its objective. Sam Raimi will return to produce this reboot again as he did in the 2004 version.

With respect to the original Japanese saga, The Grudge he is already on his ninth film and they even made a vs, against the girl from The Ring, who also had his American version. The film is scheduled to premiere in the United States on January 3, 2020, on the other hand in Argentina it will only arrive on January 30 of the same year.

Sony Pictures has released a "spooky new uncensored trailer" of 'The Curse (The Grudge)', a new restart of the American franchise inspired by the Japanese film series Takashi Shimizu.

This time it is Nicolas Pesce ('The Eyes of My Mother', 'Piercing') who writes and directs this horror tape, now "for adults" backed by Sam Raimi and Robert Tapert ('Do not breathe', 'Hell under the water ') and that has an interesting cast headed by Andrea Riseborough, Demián Bichir, John Cho, Lin Shaye, Betty Gilpin, William Sadler and Jacki Weaver.

A "perverse new vision" produced by Screen Gems, Stage 6 Films, Ghost House Pictures and Good Universe that will arrive in Spanish movie theaters on January 1, 2020, two days earlier than in the United States.
